How long is the car at VPC?

My car arrives at the port on the 11th but I have a tight schedule the coming week and my dealership won't give me any estimation on when I'll get the car. My Sales guy said since we live 20 minutes from the VPC we get cars faster than usual. What do you guys think? Would it be a little much to think I can pick up the car on the 13th or 14th if the car arrives on the 11th?

I'm not sure but 13th or 14th sounds ambitious. I can't remember when mine did that or I could tell you the exact days...I remember I could pick it up on Fri., but I think the VPC had it the previous week already...

For future references, Car arrived at Port Hueneme on 10th, (a day ahead of schedule) picked up the car on the 13th. Estimating a 3 day VPC time.

Longer than 5 days is fishy, particularly when another car on the same boat was released earlier and is waiting for yours to get on the truck for the dealership.

Mine was kept for 10 business days at the NJ VPC for some phony reason the dealer couldn't believe (missing one plastic cover to the headlight washer on the front bumper).

It turned out to have oil in coolant at 4000 miles, which the BMW regional engineer says must come from someone pouring oil down the wrong pipe somewhere along the process. This is not over...
