The car has a clean carfax, no accidents, no smoking. I truly baby this car. Its a 2007 Space Grey e92 335i, in excellent condition.
I hand wash it most of the time, paint is in excellent shape. I change the oil every 3000 miles.

why not just do a transmission swap? i believe its already been done before

i have some new turbos for sale that you can put on that badboy

Still haven't seen a 335i transmission conversion, although it's been done to a 535i I believe.
Believe me, I am still considering the transmisson swap, but pricing it out it seems like another 5k with lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch, etc.

I replaced my original CCC nav with a retrofitted CIC unit, and there is now an option for external audio via Bluetooth.
It's pretty awesome actually, shows artist and song title. Works with all forms of music including my library, pandora, iTunes radio, etc. steering wheel only changes tracks when in Bluetooth audio.

If I plug my phone in my center console, then I get album art etc through BMW apps using pandora.

Ask ak335i he's swapping in a new tranny to handle his single turbo.

Either way I would stick with your tranny until you start seeing signs of it going bad. I'm assuming it'll be awhile until you actually need a new tranny
