Have you checked out the rear subframe / vanos? If it's 2001 I think this year is the last year you can get the rear subframe done under extended warrenty? |

You know - I still think that the E46 looks better than the E90, particularly the pre-LCI E90. Is that just me?
Your M3 - it's 'all right at once' - Carbon Black is a fantastic colour (same colour as our 130i Limited Edition), when it's clean and polished it changes colour depending on the light. Sometimes it's quite blue, other times clearly black. Last edited by Falmouthboy; 02-15-2011 at 02:39 AM.. |

Great car. By the way, if you didn't know, the later widescreen Nav with the much nicer 16:9 screen and hidden tape deck (or CD) is a plug and play replacement.

Oh yes, I remember you and the E30 cab.............you got the best out of that car.
Hope you're well Ant and yes, I too think the E46 has aged very well and I actually like the interiors of that model also. Lovely looking car. |

Lovely car mate I've always wanted one of these but the timing just wasnt right, also heard alot of horror stories with regard to servicing costs, how they go through tyres and the 16mpg round town etc etc, but i've still got a soft spot for them, have fun

i got 37 mpg at 75 going to wales from leeds. round town its doing about 23 mpg. i have just bought 4 brand new tyres conti's contact sport 5's for 100 quid each new on ebay they should be 225 oh and i went a size wider so 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 245 on tax a full tank is about 56 - 60 quid and will do me 300 - 350 miles.

You need to tell the chap over the road from you he will do himself an injury trying to headbutt the tree down, at least get him to take a run up at it, a saw is far more effective, I speak from experience.
