Thanks Vince!
Need some input... This bumper I picked up has a euro plate mount. I'm tempted to slap one on there for fun and to avoid body work on the screw holes. What's the consensus on this? Am I asking for trouble? |

I ordered CA vanity plate and it should be ready for my renewal here this month. Think g I'd ordering a euro plate to match the new vanity. At least the #/message would match! Thanks bro! |

Update on my Detail from Detail Maniacs..
Well, let's just say I am not Impressed. With the right lighting, I see heavy swirl marks and scratches that I have never seen before. Either the buff and wax really brings them out or it was a bad detail. I thought Clay Bar would eliminate all of that. Anyone have any input? I know it would be hard by not seeing my car, but for $250 I would think it would look better than it does. Yes it looks great in the sun light and photos but up close not so great.

I thought claybar was supposed to get rid of the swirl marks as well, assuming they aren't bad scratches. I saw a thread from a guy who claybar'd his car and took before and after pics, very close up, and it looked like they were gone.
Was Detail Maniacs the really expensive recommendation from earlier in the thread or are they the guys that Dave @ Sac Auto Body recommended (or are they one and the same)?

I need to get a second opinion, before I complain to Detail Maniacs. Maybe I'll stop by Eric's store and have him take a look..

Just checked with Mod Bargains, and my Forgestar F14 in 18" gunmetal rims will be here on Thursday and tomorrow I take delivery of my CSL trunk! Finally! All major body work is done! My ultimate Father's Day gift to myself!
Now, let's hope my wife doesn't notice anything.

heat soak problem probably stock box is the best to keep IAT down specially sitting in traffic now in a damn hot indian like summer. but once the car get going, i think the aFe does pretty good job. i donno, i'll see after i install it.

Also, I had my rear brakes pads replaced at EG BMW right before warranty ended. I have this super annoying brake squeal now and it is different than the one that is somewhat normal before. Bad install or just low mileage since the change?
