My car is fast even with limp-mode

okay before I begin with the story its not super fast but not too bad either.

So im flying to work this morning and Im keeping in the lower gears because I love the feel of the car in third gear and just routinely punch it from 65-100mph. (I go opposite of traffic) I don’t have my oil cooler yet so I get a limp mode and i have to pull over. There was no shoulder at the point of the 2 lane highway. So I reduce my speed to about 65mph and just set it in cruise. I’m about to switch lanes and this asshole in a white Pontiac grand prix speeds up and stays next to me I try to slow down and so does he, im like what the fu**! so I just punch it so that he would pull ahead and I would make his day and I can pull in behind him. To my surprise I punch it so does he and I actually get enough room to get ahead and merge! Then I exit, so does this guy, on the exit ramp he gets onto the shoulder almost running me off the road gives me the finger and passes me up. As you can probably assume by now im about to rip his head off. So we get to the next intersection and I’m behind him, I jump out of my car to see if this asshole as enough balls to say something to my face. He actually went through the red light! I was just in disbelief of this guys audacity.

However once I cooled down and thought about it, the car running on limp mode still isn’t supper slow.

I know about the road rage but I was pissed off and at that point really wanted to stick his head in between the car door and slam it a few times. However, Im glad that he left and I didnt have to confront him.

2.1 controls boost by itself, so limp mode probably doesnt pull away as much power as on a stock car...

Here is a limp mode dyno on my stock car after it went limp from the oil temps on the dyno

blue line is the run that sent it into limp
red line is a full run while in limp

ambient temp was 97 degrees!

Hmmm..interesting but the limp was induced by my temps reaching 300. Are you suppose to post your dyno with 2.1 on the forum?
