tire pressure light
So the other day I woke up and noticed my tire pressure light was on, went and put air in my tires and read the manual. After Reseting numerous times it still wont go back and the light is still on. any info on how I can fix this?

If resetting the monitor doesn't remove the warning, then one of your tire pressure sensors might be faulty.

Weird...I wonder how can u tell which one its the faulty one? On mine everytime I have low air warning it does not tell me which one of the 4 tires. I guess its because I dont have the OB screen?

first check your tires of course. then without turning your car on, press the start button twice (accessory mode) then go to the tpms symbol(bc stalk) and hold down the BC button until you see a checked box. you may have to click it once and hold. It should reset Last edited by idrift4wd; 01-17-2013 at 01:49 PM.. |

06 builds dont have tpms just tells you if you have a flat or low on air. you have to do the work and find out which one.

I thought I did. Yes u right I have to find out which tire is low, thats why I carry a air preassure gauge in my glove compartment just in case. I check air pressure about every month or so. Its very handy!

yeah, tire pressure sensor is probably bad....if you know the tires are at proper inflation, and you check them every so often, you can live with the light for a while....

Did you ever figure this out? Mine has the same issue and its an 06. It came on but the tires were good on air, and it wont turn off.

If you do have TPMS and the light comes on and stays on it means pressure is low, if it flashes, then you have a malfunction, usually on 07-08 your sensor batteries are dead..

Running RFTs or non-RFTs will not affect the tire pressure.
