Scratch/chip repair / detailer in DFW area

Hi all,

My car was keyed on the hood a few days ago (I hate loosers!!!). I used scratchX and it lightened it up but its still visible. White paint is visible on monaco blue car. Is there a good detail shop in Plano/Richardson area that can take care of this? When I was in philly I used http://www.lyonsdetailing.com/ and those guys were awesome... removed some deep scratches and I was surprised to see there work.

I also have some chips on the hood that I would like to take care of... I did a quick search and couldnt find a good reference.

Thanks!!!!

You should try scottwax.com. He is very experienced, plus he is mobile so he will come to you. Sorry to hear about the damage. I hate people who do that. Hopefully the key marks are not too deep.

Are there any established shops in the area who have been around for a while?

the best person to go to is scottwax is a pillar in the autopia.org world and has been detailing for a very long time, established shops tend to be hit or miss trust me scottwax is the best and does his work for a good price

do you have a pic with the scratches ?
if your nail goes in than need touch up paint. u can`t get them out with buff.
also if the paint is thin on that panel u can`t get them out, a paint gauge will tell how the paint condition is. i am mobile but don`t do touch up

No nail will not go into the scratch.... however I can see the white under coating thru blue paint and that annoys the heck outta me. There are quite a few rock chips that need touch up... and I'm looking to take care of it all in one go.

Overall paint is in decent shape... its just the hood and front bumper.
