"BMW is developing another all-new model to fill the gap in its model line between the 5 Series wagon and the 2009 X6 SUV. At this time, BMW's newcomer is dubbed the Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS), which BMW considers an all-new creation in the multitude of SUVs, SAVs, MPVs and APVs."

They're cannibalizing their model lineup with all these SUV's and crossovers...first the X6 and now the PAS

BMW really needs to condense their models or they'll become Mercedes Benz and have 10 trillion models

The prototypes don't have the most flattering overall shape, and those are possibly the WORST artist renderings I've seen to date. Seriously, isn't it easy to see that it's a dropped X6 with details missing?

I'm not crazy about this car, because it doesn't really seem like it's gonna be a Bimmer to me. It goes against traditional nomenclature, which is a bit annoying imo.

The guy NEVER gets the car right, and puts NO creative energy into his renderings. He pisses me off.

Hmm, this just made me fo a search on Hans G. Lehman to see how bad he is. Damn, his renderings are really pathetic! However, I don't think that's what he does best. I was looking and he does do a good job of taking spy pics.

I guess you've been missing out on the news?

BMW WANTS to add more models. So does Audi, so does Merc and Porsche.

Come 2010, crossover models and sub-variants will be everywhere.

Condensing is out of the question.

lol, if BMW made an R-Class competitor, it'd look like this first picture.

The second one's my interpretation of the Concept CS lol. More or less the same thing. I draw these things all the time without reference. I like making interpretations off of concepts, but I never actually think for a sec that that's what they'll look like.
