Cancel Order

Does anybody know if I can get out of an order that I have given a deposit too, or will I lose the deposit or have to use it towards another car, thanks.

If your car is already in production, they keep the deposit. If it has to be built still, you can get out of it.

BTW what (car) did you plan on cancelling?

Ask the dealer. Most will return your deposit unless you ordered a configuration that is uncommon and would be difficult to sell and would therefore likely remain in inventory for a long time.

I ordered a 325i in Mystic Blue, but got a 330i off their lot instead. My $1000 deposit was credited to my new car.

In CA, deposit is fully refundable until you take actual delivery.

Your dealer should have told you in advance whether or not it is refundable. Also not to be harsh, you should have asked when you made the deposit.
