, but in a nice way. See page 217. You can find the owners manual here http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/Owner/dgh.aspx

Now if you plan on keeping it passed 50,000 miles then do a search for Mike Miller's recommendations.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Actually, Email Mike at 'techtalk@roundel.org'. He'll send one to anyone who asks.

So I heard.

BMW's recommendations are:

Oil - Condition Based (See your car readout) averaging 15,000 plus or minus 4,000 miles.

Brake Fluid - Every two years (like most other vehicles)

Transmission, Differential & Radiator - "Lifetime" (100,000 miles).

Why not search for any of the myriad threads on this topic?

Tom
