Ahn, ok, thanks. It makes more sense to me as a concern with a CAI.

Got an answer from Carsten Wagner himself regarding the X5/X6 diesel models IC. He says it's his next item on the list once the E90 IC gets rolling. So fingers crossed. He also mentioned that it'll be plug-n-play version like the E90 one, since the E70/71 has a lot of room in there. Great news, that way I can get a bump from Mega-Speed in my remap programming for a better top end.

Hmmm....As I wrote a few weeks ago, I already is running with a larger IC from a company in South Africa. It's a great upgrade.
You guys should use google a bit more instead of waiting for month for a solution that is already there ;-). And of course you get almost nothing from just uprating the IC. Combine it with a remap..... Btw, I'l get my 330dA dynoed next saturday. Before fitment it's was dynoed at 265hp/606nm. And there is A LOT more torque now!!!!!

@anielsen71, most of us have done the GOOGLE and/or YAHOO search and we did or better said I did not come across the guys you mention, BTW send us their link and pics of your car, on the other side the mere fact that WAGNER has a distributor to the USA helps alot!! Those numbers you are stating are impressive but I believe with our twin turbos we will achieve a bit more, that said I appreciate your info and as always we are ALl open to see what others have but as far as I am concern although WAGNER is a bit expensive the mere fact that it resembles the OEM look has me on their side, I frankly dont want my car to look like FRANSTEIN with other ICs, no Im not downsizing other products but in my line of taste I would like it look sweeter

@Puerto
These are the Guys in South Africa. www.definitivedetailing.co.za or www.promotec.co.za I know.....Their website is not much. But they know what they are doing. I will take som photos later today of the engine bay of my car so you can see that it is not visible at all that I have got an IC with twice the volume as the OEM. And yes, they only talk about 330d but the IC can be used on 335d also. This was my first E-mail from Rolf at Promotec: "Good morning Alan We have two kinds of intercoolers for the 330d The 8 row unit is a straight forward plug & play exchange unit, yet it depends on your bodywork if some minor body cuts will be neccessary..... (different front bumper versions from BMW) The 10 row unit needs an adapter as its designed for higher flow but any engineering shop can do that easily. Body mods will be a bit more due to a massive volume difference, again depending on your front bumper installed! Price is 399 Euro + shipping cost for the 8 row intercooler and 499 Euro + shipping for the 10 row intercooler without adapter (adapter is currently out of stock) What else can I help you with? Greetings from Cape Town Rolf" The Intercooler looks completely like stock as you can see from the pictures ealier in this thread. First one is before IC and drop. 2 last ones are after fitting of the IC and drop. And yes the front wheels is spaced out after the pictures was taken

I also found the latest dyno before fitting the intercooler and maping:
Just to clarify: Hk=hp

Diesel Diner I have to thank for putting me in touch with Wagner. If it wasn't for Joseph this wouldn't have come through. He is right I don't come on the boards much cause I am busy at work or working on my Supra road race car. I am going on Friday October 5th to Wagner Tuning for them to do the test fit and all of their testing. They said it should take 4 to 5 hours, but I have no problem doing this all in the name of helping you guys out. It will be a long drive, but it goes by quick driving on the Autobahn. I will take pictures Friday and try and post them up. Assuming Carsten will do the same. Next time I post will be when this is mounted!

DOC your WELCOMED here, you unlike others sacrificed an entire day for this, I did the same when I purchased the my 02 MCS and had to drive 5 hours to see RENNtech and wait almost another 5 hours for the download from Germany and then drive another 4 hours(oopss, I was doing approximately 80-100 mph with my new RENNtech flash ) Anyway whenever you come visit Puerto Rico look me up, mi casa es su casa, except my woman!!, LOL) Keep us informed, again GRACIAS!!!!!
