Overheating
My car started overheating yesterday and went into limp mode. It was 91 degrees out, I was on the highway with the AC on.
I'm running an OTS Cobb tune for stock engine with 93 octane fuel. I run 93 and my engine is stock so I assume the tune should be fine. Should I try going back to OEM tune before moving on to other trouble shooting options?

yes, but I don't think the Cobb is the problem... but if you end up taking it to the dealer you want any relevant codes to be readable by them and the tune out so you may as well uninstall the Cobb now.
I'm running Cobb Stg1+FMIC and it was 95F out yesterday, drove a couple hours both on highway and in stop and go traffic, my oil never got over 240-245 (I couldn't see water as I didn't have the Cobb plugged in) so I don't think the tune is your problem. |

I'm over 40k, so I'm guessing the warranty on this is over.
I found a DIY for a automatic. Somebody posted a video in there for the manual too. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ump+thermostat I have to install my new IC, so maybe I'll do both at the same time. where is a cheap source for parts?
