yeah i think it's similar to getting wheels w/out lowering. it'll look a lil "off". Not as bad as wheels w/out a drop, especially on e90, but still noticeable to a bimmer enthusiast.

get the V2 and adjust to driving this car lowered

You don't feel the M-Tech while you're driving

that's another excellent point... although i do feel the dynamic carbon fiber roundel overlays as i'm driving.
