escort x50 8500 help PLZ!

hi if anyone has an escort 8500 x50 plz help me set it up like whats all the right settings for it lmk plz thank you. when u enter the menu and all that just wanna make sure i catch the cops b 4 they catch me =]

i dont use the thing around town. only on the highway so i set it on "highway" mode all the time (highway is most sensitive). if you are sure cops in your area dont use X band, you can shut that off completely. i didnt shut x band off because i am not 100% sure... the rest of the settings such as volume and brightness and display option should be set to your liking... pm me if you have more questions.
