Due for service: Need Help!!

This is my first BMW and I live in the Romford area. Sytner Harold Wood is the closest BMW dealer for me. However I am disappointed with their level of service. Had few jobs done with them under warranty and each time the car has come out with some new problem for which I have had to take it back to them.

My car is due for service now and I am wondering if any one can suggest alternatives to Sytner Harold Wood? I think all that needs doing is an oil and filter change. Also any recommendations in terms of the best oil to use? My car is a 330D (07 reg).

Thanks in advance...

Do you want to stay within the official dealer network? If not, then you should go visit Bexley Motor Works in Bexleyheath. They'll be a fair bit cheaper than a main dealer, and your car warranty remains intact because Bexley use genuine BMW parts and can stamp the service book accordingly.

Garage List
I live in Romford too, I take my car to Farfield on the way to Southend, always had good service.

I used to take my M3 to Harold Wood and never had a problem until some twat in the service dept decided to start an argument with me so hence they lost my business, now all of our fleet (all bmw's) go to Farfield, their loss!

I better add that I can't fault the sales and parts dept though, very helpful.

Thanks for the replies guys...

Cost is not a major issue at present...But is there any advantage in staying with the dealer network? For eg when selling it on etc...

last 2 cars i've sold the people did't ever look at the service history

all depends on how old the car is when you sell it the older the car the

less fussy the buyer but then you do get buyers who think a 7 year old
with 100000 miles costing 5 grand should be like brand new
