oh yes... the old model :P doesnt matter, the car is essentially the same! cosmetic really, unless more is touched on about the "power increase" in the 335...

after reading this post..seeing all the "he said she said"...it seems like no one knows for sure if this facelift is for the MY 2010...or not.. I still dont see why a facelift for MY 2011 would be around this early...just seems a bit too early for a car thats going to be released 1 yr from now?...
I'm hoping this is for MY 2010 as I'll be in the market in October this yr. |

Mirrors are shocking.
Interesting colour combo for a test mule! Montego and coral?

just change up the kit to M-Tech/Aero, it'll look pretty much the same again, not so drastic as LCI -Pre LCI I feel... At least there was a pretty obvious makeover in the rear for the Sedan versions!

Why mess with perfection....the sedan was not as nice as the coupe. The side mirrors look horrible, they resemble the new 2009 e90's side mirrors.

this is common, the e46 coupe was revised in 04 and 07 was a new body. the 3 series will get the revision as a 2010 and a new body in 2013.
i love the current 335i don't get me wrong, but a simple taillight change makes such a big difference, case in point, the 2008 and 2009 997 taillights. |

Wow, as an e46 owner I seriously didn't realize that. I thought LCI coupes started in 2003...
Thanks for correcting me!

my friend test drove BMWs for 4 years in oxnard california. He went through so many model changes, so these pictures dont really mean much of anything.
He would park a car that was camoflauged like this one, and the car itself would have 80-100K's miles on it, and people would think it was the brand the new model arriving, but little did they know he was picking up a brand new model to test drive next day at LAX. food for thought... |

I guess the good news is that we will see the how the car will ACTUALLY look in Sept. I would be surprised if these photos do the actual finished product justice. Not much point in getting knit picky over something that BMW would rather you not even see.

so the most visable changes are the lights and the air con controller. Hopefully the rear lights you can retrofit without the need to sacrafice 9 chickens and 4 virgins.

also I strongly believe they will release this march next year as they did with the E46 facelift. The car is well developed now and almost ready to roll judging by those pics.
