K&N filter Euro intake
Used K&N filter for the Euro intake.

What's the trick to getting the original filter out of the intake box? It seems to be very tightly secured by that arm and I can't seem to locate or figure out how to release it!

if I remember correctly, squeeze the tabs highlighted in yellow and pull. It was a bit of a pain because they are hard to squeeze.

Thanks! I think the OEM paper filter was manufactured a little out of spec. It was really tight. Finally did get it out by pressing with pliars and pulling up and to the front of the car.
All of those torx screws on the cover make me remember how wonderful one wing nut in the middle of the air cleaner was in the 70s.
