License Plate - how long does it take?

How long does it take for a license plate to be manufactured and delivered to the dealership?

My car was registered with the state on Feb. 28th, and I have a temporary paper that is valid until March 16th.

Wondering when i can get real plates...

If I remember correctly it was 3-4 weeks in NJ.

Just depends from state to state.
In Michigan, it took 2-3 weeks.
In Arizona, I went to the DMV to register, the women handed me a plate from a stack sitting on her desk.

In Louisiana, our temps r good for 60 days; a financed car takes longer to get real plates than cash - cash cars take 10-12 days but 60 days is how long DMV has to get them to u
