Smile Tint suggestions

Hey guys, I'm about to tint my silver 07 e90 and I was looking for suggestions. I live in NJ and you're only allowed to tint the 3 back windows so I was thinking of going with 25% in the back. I'd really love to tint the front but I don't want to deal with being pulled over for it. I have black interior and have heard that it makes the tint look darker. I'm trying to go for a not too dark, but also not too light look. I've heard of factors where the tint makes it too hard to see out of at night and interferes with radio signals. From doing a little reading on here I've seen different types of material used for tints mentioned. Would anybody be able to fill me in on these? A friend was going to hook up the back 3 windows for $175.. can anybody from the northern NJ (specifically bergen county) area tell me if this is a good price or have any recommendations on where to get it done?

Sorry for all the questions guys, but any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Any pics are welcome

Edit: No comfort access

Also make sure that you get ceramic tint if you have comfort access in your car. Normal metallic tint will interfere with the signal!

I don't have comfort access, but are there any differences between these two materials?

35% all the way around. Its light enough for them to not really mess with you. If you're not going to do the front 2 windows, don't tint. It'll look like crap.

Or you can get non metallic tint (which is also not ceramic) and is a lot less expensive.

i have 20% on all windows, 35% on the windshield but I wish I would have done 35% all around. It looks good on BSM, but I would do 35% if I did it again.

Yea I can't decide whether or not I want tints. Cops around me are a holes about tints. They see a young teenager driving a BMW and if it has tints, you're getting a ticket. My friends all have nice cars....BMW, Audi, RR, and MB...the ones that have tints get tickets all the time. One time an officer even came up to the window of my friends car with a gun drawn because the car matched a description of a stolen vehicle. The officer even mentioned that the car that was stolen didn't have tints on it and he still drew his gun. Another story, not about tints but I'm on a roll with the a hole cosp...I was completely stock and had no front plate bc someone stole it. I drove around for 4 months like this. Once I got new angel eyes, blacklines and front splitters, a week later, I got 2 tickets in 2 different towns. Gay.

I've herd great things about sams window tinting in nanuet ny. They did my friends corvette (not an easy car to tint) and it came out great

I am from the nor jerz area as well, contemplating getting the 35 tint all around soon, good luck with the boys if you get it done.

Sams is good. I believe the owner has a vette. His kid used to go to one of the local high schools and I believe he now works there doing vinyl work. You can trust them.

For those from my area who have all around tints, what is the usual going price? I'm not trying to get the top of the line tint nor one that won't last. I don't necessarily care about it keeping out heat and I'm guessing I don't need ceramic since I don't have comfort access. All in all I'm just looking for a tint that'll look good, won't give me problems, and will last.

Thanks guys.
