I am fine with price upto 400~500

really depends on what kind of devices are being used by cops where you live. I want to get both because cops down here use both radars and lasers...

Actually... only the radar detector is legal in your state.

You may have the radar jammer confused with a laser jammer.
Laser jammer laws very from state to state; Wisconsin is one that allows them. Radar jammers however are a different story. It's a federal felony to possess, operate or sell radar jammers in the US.

Read this.

In terms of detectors; the V1 and the Escort X50 seem to be the favorites.

You would want to get an Escort Passport 8500 radar and its Laser Jammer as an accesory the accesory runs about 400 bucks and radar another 300 so your looking at 700 bucks.

Radar jammers are illegal throughout the US. They are radio transmitters and subject to federal rather than state regulation.

Don't go anywhere near something that claims it can jam radar, it is either a worthless box or something that can land you in very hot water.

Laser jammers are a different story and may be legal in your state.
