If the scratches are in the clear coat a professional machine polish detail will make a big difference.

I would try a mobile paintless dent company for the door dings.

It referred to as Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) and there will be someone in your area who specialises in it. Go on recommendations as all are not equal.

Like NFS said your scratches, depth dependant, will be removed/disguised by a machine polish detail, with the added benefit that your car will never have had looked so good. Prices vary from, not that dear to extortionate. Dent removal will be less expensive.

Sorry for being so vague, but it really does depend on who you opt to use and unfortunately it is not always a case of you get what you pay for. You really have to do some homework of who is available in your area and find someone you trust. Better still if you are fairly competent, get yourself into doing your own paint correction/protection. You will never look back, but it is extremely addictive.

As other have said. I think your options are:

a: Dent removal - £40-80 per panel depending on who you get to do it
b: Machine polish (of whole vehicle) £150-300
c: Respray of panel £150-200 (Note if you vehicle is a light colour, paint may need to be blended into adjacent panels which would take the cost up to £400-500)

It's a very good idea. The initial detail including a machine polish will transform your car like you would not believe. It is entirely safe when done correctly. After that it is all about maintaining the finish so polishing is not necessary other than a very light enhancement periodically. NFS has put you on to the right site. Spend some time on there and those guys will soon point you in the right direction as to who is in your area.

The showroom and the studio will show you what is achievable. Showroom for keen hobbyists and studio for the Pros, though just because some do it for a living does not mean they are better than the amateurs.
