Have a look at how my LED Angel/demon eyes are coming along.

How you all doing.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

I have been doing some work on creating a decent, budget Angel eye setup for e92 coupe, Pre LCI.

This is my 4th set and I have been practicing on faulty light units before doing my own as well as a few mates cars.

What do you think?
The red demon eye is for show purposes only.... Saw a few people do it on hidplanet, so I thought I would give it a go.

I have done a full black out and placed an LED indicator, and have decided not to put back the indicator shroud as IMO I think it looks cleaner and great without it.

Don't mind the road rash on the lens. These were my test units.

Update Sun 6th Jan.

took the time this weekend to finish of the lights.
I am very pleased with the results! It is pure white, and I prefer the LEDs to the others that produce a blue hue.

As you can see the red eye is very subtle. It is more noticeable from closer distances.

I am extremely happy with the results. Closer, more detailed images to follow

Edit.
More pics from yesterday. 4 potential customers as well!!! It seems that people can't help but stop you on the road. I guess this mod, as simple as it is, is getting me the most attention!

Update more pics
From a distance. Lights off

Closer. Lights off

Pictures of these on the car would be good.

From what I see the angel rings look great. How long does it take you to fiddle around until you get the finished product?

Wow those look great. Is this a similar setup to the OSS one's where you take the light units apart and then fit the LED rings? If so I would be interested depending on how much the whole setup including fitting costs. Also is this a Halogen or Xenon setup and does is throw up an errors codes or need re-coding?

Exactly that bud.

But I am using a much more affordable set of LEDs that have been proven to be reliable, and IMO I love the look because the are full circles as well as the LEDs being very title packed removing the beaded look effect.

This is a xenon setup. I have done a few e92 xenon setups and find it very simple. The hardest, most time consuming part is definitely the sanding, priming and painting if you are doing a full black out option, or what ever colour you would like to go for.

I have had my headlights coded already so I do not have any codes, but this can be avoided by purchasing an extra LED resistor pack which you take off existing LED Angel eye upgrades. IMO it is better just paying someone 20 to code out these errors.

Where did you get the rings from? I was planning on going full blackout with tinted indicator reflector but found the LED rings I wanted from the USA were quite expensive.

Nice my car has Xenons and I've already got a set of BMS LED lights in but I am not 100% satisfied with them so would be interested to know how much these would work out at and what the turn around time would be as the car will be obviously have the headlights removed to do this mod.

I assume you are baking the headlights to take them apart and then resealing them?

Any replacement bulbs will never have the same look led rings give off.
I will contact you when I am 100% ready.
Of course. Baking them apart is the only method.

Thanks a lot! After carrying out a small number of these conversions, I feel very confident I can knock these out for people should they wish to have this done.

I will get you guys more pics.

Sparky- the led lights you have chosen are a simple plug and play, but these are an entire retrofit of new LED Rings.
