Logic 7 Amp possibly blown, need help

Hello All,

I have an 06 e90 325i with Logic 7 / Professional / Nav and I think I may have blown the stock amp. I also have a Blaupunkt tha1250 php which is spliced into the logic 7 to feed the 2 under seat subs.

-I have "audio" coming through the speakers but it is very muted and flat.
-All fuses have been checked (that I know of)
-Aftermarket amp has Power

I was wondering if anyone either has a spare L7 Amp lying around or if anyone would be willing to do some testing to see if it is in fact the faculty amp. I'm thinking since the stock amp has a PlugnPlay wiring harness we can just quickly swap them out.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Through my experience... our Logic 7 amp should match the package of our cars... when I damage my Logic amp before I thought I could just buy a used one and plug it in, and it did not work... It cost me alot of money finding used one and end up not working... So I ordered a new one which is configured according to my VIN no. ($1,200++ new one) ... anyways good luck on hunting for a used Logic amp... my best bet is order a new one...

... and one more thing about Logic amp, It is connected to your NAVIGATION/BLUETOOTH/SATELLITE RADIO... so if you damage the amp you loose all of the others... but don't panic it is fixable

So heres the thing…

I still have full use of i-Drive, Nav, and bluetooth. Have not tested Sirius bc I am not subscribed.

Thats why I'm not sure if its the amp or something else went wrong. To be honest, I know a little - but I'm not sure where to start diagnosing. I performed basic tests and those seem to be in order. Plus, I'm not sure if its "blown" because I do still have audio, its just not amplified in no way shape or form. Very muted & muffled. I would guess that if it was dead then I would have no audio whatsoever? Not sure

Thanks for help! Keep it coming !

It happened all of a sudden, while driving on i5, and at least 2 years after install. I've never had an issue with it. When you say wiring, do you think its just a loose wire somewhere?
