Well, I don't have DP's. I don't know which ones I would get if I did decide to buy them anyway. But I won't buy the most expensive DP's if I think the guy selling them is cool, and I won't buy the cheapest DP's just because they are the cheapest. I will get 3" dp's since they have shown proof of more power on the dyno. I don't like how the AR guy has come on this forum bashing other DP's in a childish effort to promote himself... just don't like his attitude about many things in general to be honest. I also don't really want to support the BB ones if in fact they really are a stolen design. Match Snell seems to be the best vendor, IMO, atleast to this point. They seem to have a good price for coated DP's although still a bit high considering they are just steel pipes with mandrel bends. Of course AR probably has the most reviews and approvals on this board for their product, but that doesn't mean the others aren't as good just not as popular.

Business is business and you have to be competitive to survive. I won't buy anything that is over-priced regardless of how much I like a vendor or a product. You can't just sit on a pedastal thinking you are #1 and wonder why people take their business elsewhere when prices are sky high.

I was almost ready to jump into these DPs but with this information I am thinking it over...

Also, I am not very comfortable with this information (from the same review):

"my only complaint is that i guess because of rumble, some part of interior trim pieces now rattle which there is no way of fixing it unless u strip your interior trims. i don't know if i'm the only one experiencing this... i do have rattles from turbos as well and i could definitely hear rattles louder after dp install but hopefully with PROCEDE V4, it will go away."
I read the review too. The installer had 0 experience on our cars according to him.

Damn...I am glad I paid the extra bucks for my ARs...I would have been pissed if I went through all that work to find out that the pipes don't fit...I also read from another person that there was an exhaust leak because of the exhaust flange didn't line up with the midpipes...Good luck

Thats why paying a little more for AR 3" DPs which has 100% feedback for fitment and quality is sometimes more important than saving some money...I would be pissed after 17 hours of trying and then not being able to finish because of fitment issues!! Check this thread post #295

if fitment is your concern get the cp-e pipes. they fit like a glove. out of the three different brands i've installed these are the only pipes that fit exactly like stock pipes.

yeah I was all about these dp's on the other forum until I heard about 1 install needing to remove the heatsheild to make these fit, then there was a problem with gaskets and hardware, and then his response to the intial problem wasn't adequate to me, either way glad I didn't jump on this one and one thing If you are going to make a copy, make sure that you make it an exact copy
