$$money to spend

Hi everyone. I have no performance mods unless you count BBS LM's.
I have 5-6k to spend on performance mods and maybe more if you can convince me. What should I spend the money on to get the most performance out of my 6MT 335i e93?
Thanks

dont forget a BT Tool.

If you have 6K...that will get you JB3/V3, catless DP's, FMIC, Exhaust, Nice Intake, and Coilovers

That is, if you do the work yourself.

You don't need to spend that much to get peak performance.

My suggestion:
-PROcede Rev.2 CANbus
-Any full exhaust with secondary cat delets
-downpipes
-Helix FMIC
-Dual intakes

That's about $4000. If you have to spend more, get some e90 M3 front lower control arms, Koni FSD shocks, UUC sway bars, good tires and call it a day

For me, it depends if you own your car or leasing. If you own your car, which I assume you do since you are going to drop 5k on it, start out easy. By easy, I mean easy on your car. Start out with intake, exhaust. Then, some downpipes, an IC, and new DV. Lastly, chip it. I prefet to do all those things first to get the car prepared for that drastic of increased power from a chip. But that's just me. Im alwasy afraid that a year after i put in the chip, something will screw up and cost me a couple gs to fix.

thanks for the help guys.

doesn't a quaife lsd run about 4k? if so i'm not so inclined to get one now as i am not planning on tracking the car much or at all. i would love to have one though. i read up a little on the cdv delete/exchange. don't see a convincing arguement for that.

how does this sound?
tune
catless dp's
fmic
dci

already have michelin ps2's

that should get me close to a hundred extra horses and a mid 12 sec fat e93, yes?

You are nuts to do all that work and not do the CDV mod. It is so cheap and easy yet makes a world of difference.

Suspension & driving lessons would be money much better spent than on power mods. I think you'd get more enjoyment that way than you would with 400hp. It's not a dragster...

i plan on doing the BMW performance driving school thing. i still want 400 hp. 400hp is not ridculous power but it seems like a nice moderate boost in power level that i would feel. is the stock sport suspension so bad?
