285 for the PS3 really? you can get the new slim with 120g for 300bucks....

His is the original 60GB one that can play PS2 and PS1 games. The new slim PS3 can't play those games.

yeah, and you can install linux, etc. its a more "open" system than the current slim ones.

Apparently they are taking that feature away this Thursday.

BUT...for the Pirates...seems like Geohot will have PS3 ready to play pirated games and homebrew and the like soon enough.; and this is the PS3 you will need for that to happen.
