But the card in my glove box shows fuse 48 does headlamp washers and main washers, and the washer heaters....

The headlamp washers are doing my tits in now. Hellppppp please

My headlight washers are fused separately, but it's an E91 so may be different to yours

Sorry pal. Just seen this.

Mine was the E90. Can't remember which fuse but it had the exact desired effect.

I guess you have it sorted by now.

Ive still not pulled one.
Ive read a thread on here saying pull 48. But ive only got 1 48, and the bit of card in the fusebox says that does the screen washers too..

I believe mine did too. But the screen washers still work fine.
Get it out and try. Only takes 2 mins. I wasted half a day stripping the washer tank out so i could clean it and it didn't fix anything. Pulled the fuse, and voila!
The headlight washers are a complete waste anyway.

Edit. Or fuse 43. There are differences in model and lci.

Mine is a 56 plate E91 335d and for me it's fuse 43. Pulled mine 2 weeks after getting the car last year as the bumper washer pop ups didn't quite return properly and I'd also heard stories of the covers popping off after the pipes freeze in the winter. They are not needed IMHO anyway and just make a mess of the bonnet/bumper.
