Idk how he's hitting 118 mph then lol
If he's on 18psi and dropping to 13psi
I'm holding 17psi the whole way lol
Cobb tune allows advancing ignition timing unlike JB4. This is crucial to take full advantage of E85.

100 lbs = +/- 1mph

I strongly doubt that subs are causing a 4mph trap diff

You are right, I meant to say that the subs contributes to it lol.

On an unrelated note based from my experience visiting PBIR, the only N54's trapping over 116mph have been cars that also have meth. I would definitely like to see Simon trap high like Rnm though. I feel as though Rnm's results aren't really typical especially for PBIR, so it would be unfair to compare his and Simons car.

Nice! I just spin anywhere above 2k on the Michelin PS2s. My best 60' is a 1.84 and the car went 12.35.

I can't get past 1.9x 60' so you guys are flying lol.

Stupid RFT's!!

On a side note, I'm happy to note that if I was hitting a 1.7-1.8 60' I'd be in the low 12's with a full weight vert! - not bad

Nice run OP!!

I'm consistent 12.0-12.1x at pbir now and I can't trap over 115 lol

those times are stupid, congrats. I'm struggling to get below a 2.0x 60' right now FBO with RFTs. Can anyone tell me...are the gear ratios (both tranny and diff) the same in a 6AT 135i as with a 6AT 335i? The 135i only weighs 1-200 lbs less than a 335i, right? Shouldn't make too much difference?

me and the OP both were cutting 1.8x avg 60fts that day. I have a 6at sedan and we both use the same launch technique. 2nd gear to roughly 3K. roll out and then hammer it. my best was 1.76 and 1.79 on street tires. you have to feel your track out. Our track changes daily and even hourly depending on the weather.

Roll out and hammer it...can you elaborate on that? So you don't load he converter and mash it off the line?

For a second I had forgotten that you were in an automatic.

It's a shame i'll probably not head out to the drag strip this year with the car so next year i'll have to experiment with different launching techniques. I used to go to the strip with my previous car for 5 years straight (2005 STi) and I consider myself a seasoned drag racer. It will certainly be hard to adjust to a RWD car from an AWD jap-box.

OP, quick question, when you AT guys are going down the track, do you manually shift with the paddle shifters or do you let the computer do it?

nO that would be spin city. brake boost till it wants to lurch forward (for me it's around 3k.. it will vary depending on your power). when you launch you basically drop the brake and nudge the gas once you are out of the gate floor it as soon as you can. this also takes practice.

Hmm, ok thanks. I don't think I can hold my car at 3k rpm but I'll try that launch at a track rental that's coming up.

Very impressive considering the warm humid conditions.

I have the same mods, stock mufflers, 335i and ran 12.1@118. Traps always 117-119. Your ET is awesome, but trap is low. Do you have logs?

I envy the AT at the drag strip. Crazy consistent and impressive.

With drag radials and your mods, it should be relatively easy to get into 11's.
