Something that I see on many other cars as well: If you shut off accessory power while the windshield wipers are in mid-swing, the wipers will just stop in the middle of windshield and stay there. I don't understand why they couldn't make the wipers to complete the last swing and stop in their resting locations. I wonder if there's some rationale behind this behavior. My previous car (a Honda) did exactly the same thing.
You can't get our cars coded so that if you shut your car off in the middle of a wipe, it will finish!

A couple more:

Don't you hate it how you have to change the temperature for each side individually (climate control option)? I'm not sure if all BMWs are like this, but I hate it how I can't control both sides at the same time.

Don't you hate it how pressing the window button up or down twice will stop it from moving? Sometimes I'll pull the button up twice out of habit to ensure that it's rolling up, but the second pull will make the window stop. If you want the window to stop, you should simply have to press the button in the opposite direction like other cars.

*Note: I LOVE my car. I'm just point out things that I don't like

What year is your car? From 2009 on there is an "All" button on the climate control that allows you to control both sides with the driver knob. Regarding the window, you are way to anal. Why pull the button 2 times? That's a bit crazy dude.

My car is a 2008.

As for why I pull it 2 times, it's kind of like an OCD thing. I've just always been used to doing it. Yes, I realize that it's not a big deal.

The only thing I actually hate is that it doesn't tell me if a door or the trunk is open until AFTER I start to drive away. Everything else I can live with, but this just bugs me.

i hate it how my car is an 09 and i still dont get an ALL function, still have the rest which is only useful when pumping gas.

i hate it how the turning lights work. in a normal car that is a spot for a highbeam light and having that on while turning means your high beaming someone.

It's irritating that the cruise control doesn't work when the traction control is off.

I also dont like how the unlock button on the key is so easy to press while its inside your pocket. I had to buy a leather pouch which now looks like i have a wonky boner.
Just turn you headlights off when you wash your windshield. Thats what I do every time.

The upper body temperature control (below the center vents) always drove me crazy. I wished it was just cold...or hot... as set on the digital temperature control.

Stupid question, but I bought my car used... Is my trunk supposed to open when I press the button?? It just unlocks and lifts like an inch. I didn't know that. Probably have a blown strut then. Can anyone confirm please?

Think its 2010 or 2011 + as my 2009 still has the REST button. (which I love and use all the time)

I find it very silly that this option isn't available in previous years. It's a basic function that I'm sure everyone would use.

3-series trunk is not supposed to open by itself. Moreover, it is not required to even lift an inch. Typically, when unlocked it will just shift upwards ever so slightly. It is not even visible if you are not looking for it specifically.

The only thing I hate is how every time you're doing something with the car and turn the overhead light off, the minute you do something else it will turn back on again. And again. One would think the car would realize that I don't want those lights on, especially when I'm cleaning the interior or something else.

Almost every other car ever, even a 20 year old Honda, has a switch to make it so you can toggle those lights off.
