eisenmann or ikon exhaust?

Hi, i'm really stuck on the eisenmann race exhaust and ikon muffler systems. What would you guys reccomend i get? is it worth the extra 700 dollars for the eisenmann? which one sounds better and is louder?

+1 Eisenmann is the way to go between the two, very high quality systems.

I know this wasn't one of the options but for the price of the Eisenmann I would go with the BMW performance system instead. I owned an Eisenmann Race on my E90 330i for 2 years and then swapped out for the BMW Performance system.

yes i've looked into this and their is no bmw performance exhaust for the e90 325i would a 330i exhaust fit on the 325i? because i would definitely go that route if i can.

i'm pretty sure the performance exhaust will work for both 325i and 330i seeing as how they are (almost) the same engine

E90 323i Sedan, N52 (VB53) : BMW Performance muffler system
E90 325i Sedan, N52 (VB13) : BMW Performance muffler system
E90 325i Sedan, N52 (VB17) : BMW Performance muffler system

E90N 328i Sedan, N51 (PH57) : BMW Performance muffler system
E90N 328i Sedan, N51 (PH53) : BMW Performance muffler system

E90N 328xi Sedan, N52N (PK73) : BMW Performance muffler system
E91 328i Touring, N52N (VS13) : BMW Performance muffler system

Forget about ikon...
I say go big.
If ur going to say ikon or eisenmann.
Go eisenmann and if u do eisenmann get the
straight pipes too.
But what ur NA really wants is the BMW performance.
Ftw. Good luck.

imho, all three below have a good sound. to further expand on other aspects...

re ikon: cheaper price, however the actual muffler itself is big and ugly (when i had mine, i wound up painting the muffler itself black to try to hide it). also, one of the tips kinda turns a gold color after a while. note, ikon is muffler only.

eisenmann: good quality and looks. however, steep price for just being a muffler.

bmw performance: good quality and looks. and for the price of an eisenmann muffler, you get a full system! and since it's made by bmw, you know everything will fit good.

go with the bmw performance exhaust, looks nice, doesn't void exhaust warranty, not fitment issues and sounds awesome !!

+1 . Having the Eisenmann race on my car, I love the sound it gives off. However, after hearing the BMW Performance...I'd have to say if I had to pick again, I would go with BMW Perf. all the way.

Reference: Eisenmann Race w. Res delete v. BMW Perf with pipping

I know of a local who lost power with an Eisenmann. He switched over to a Dinan. No drone and deep tone with HP advantage.
