There is a wealth of information on this forum, but I feel like I can't open a single thread without seeing ego bumping or pointless tuner vs tuner crap. All too often genuine intellectual disscussion ends up in the gutter after a few posts.

The tuner wars stuff is amusing in a Chevy vs Ford kinda way, but also annoying. No one is married to their tuner, and if somene like Jim C comes out with a product that is clearly leaps and bounds better, 90% of the forum would switch overnight! Let's keep it in perspective, a review or comparison of two tunes is not a personal affront to anyone!

I frequently see e90post complained about on other forums I frequent, and rightfully so. I think this forum would be a much more informative and productive place if people did their best to check their attitudes and egos at the door.

This forum is amazing and tuners are doing good job each one for their respective product.
Try to concetrate to the "information" only and not the "wars" so you will be in position to trully appreciate the job that all people has done here.

Your right....but you should have been here about 1 year ago....it's actually much better then it used to be. The difference now imo is that the threads that get out of control are closed much quicker.

+1 People in general should be subjective with their post rather on objective...Remember most if not all of the OPs are learning and interacting to gain knowledge, so with that said, if your going to post a thread, its imperative that you would expect questions..If OPs don't want to be questioned then I would just be a lurker and thats all!

I've been browsing this forum since not long after the 335 came out and I remember how bad it used to get, but I do feel like there's a way left to go.

The problem with this forum is everyone is allowed to speak, even though most are clueless. On top of that each vendor has customers who receive free or discounted products trying to spin discussion in their favor. Then you have users who pretend to be vendors to make a quick buck or stroke their ego. Finally users who did not receive a discount but have become infatuated with their vendor or tuner for one reason or another, and are trying to win favor by defending their honor.

It's up to the user to filter the information and find whatever is useful. Very little of it is often.

I completely agree as a new person frequenting this forum. There are too many people who come on threads and bash people for unnecessary things. It blows my mind how that all goes down. Remember that we are on the same team here. I think we lose track of that sometimes.
