what is WOT?
It is Wide Open Throttle. I think it means when you mash the pedal to the floor. Which leads into my question above.

Tested today with my pre v29.2 Noelle tuning and a boost gauge. It takes about 0.5 seconds at 2000 rpm & WOT until noticeable boost is built up.

That is one of the problem, you state noticeable boost while others are wanting maximum boost. The measuring standards are different yet people are wanting to compare notes.

That is due to the car reving quicker in lower gears. It will get up higher in the band quicker which allow more exhaust energy to help.

Is this normal or a side effect of the new DME/progman?
Slubu....welcome to the v29.2 gang...sounds to me like your infected with v29.2 lag....

You are 100 % right. Full boost ( 13 - 14.8 psi sustainable ) comes at 3000 rpm and so the torque ( and @ later time, of course ).

BTW, who goes WOT at 2000 rpm ? Shift down. The first gear is NP.

so you don't go WOT? because the step can't hold a gear, right?

It's definitely one of the problems, which is why I'm trying to find another stock vehicle owner in my area to compare the car to. Tunes are another complicating factor.

However, I'd say that if I got any noticeable boost in 0.5s at 2k rpm, I would not be complaining as much about this issue. I know the car can't go from zero to full turbo in an instant, but I don't feel any appreciable increase in acceleration for about 1.6s. In fact, the acceleration I get before the boost feels no greater than that of just about every other car I've driven (approximately 2 dozen different models) since first experiencing this issue almost 3 months ago.
