Wavetrac pumpkin install...NEED HELP PLEASE PAYPAL READY

Everything was going smooth until we hit the big nut that you need the special tool for. I have AR's special wrench but I do not know which way it loosens, and every time we try to break it free it torques the car so much I am afraid it will come off the ramps.

If anyone has done this install please help! Thanks!

First person to give me an answer that works I will paypal $20 to.

I have done a couple and found out that the AR wrench in not adequately strong. That thing is seriously tight and will fight you all the way off. I was successful on my first attempt but it stretched out enough that I was slipping off the nut on my second diff job. It then became a garage wall ornament. I have friends at the dealer that were able to lend me the BMW wrench for this which has a telescoping handling and a much beefier wrench head. It's also a $600 tool, so buying it isn't a reasonable option.

Check this thread for the removal directions. 20+ pics down on page one.

Oops, sorry. Yes, clockwise is correct. However the AR wrench may not be strong enough. The BMW tool is a serious piece and has a long breaker bar attached that you need every inch of. Some cars are worse than others. Once the AR has slipped off it will spread and it will not work. Hopefully yours will. Good luck!

It actually turns counter clockwise to remove when facing the front of the car. The easy way to think about it is to turn the wrench toward the passenger side.

This is the first I hear of anyone having an issue with it, and I have sold dozens. Shoot me some pics, and I will replace it for you.

Love seeing businesses that care about individual customers. Makes me think there's still some good on this planet
