Lol - I always wanted to do that.
But neighbours already known me as 'the person that's always cleaning his car'

I've got a new born so i totally agree with it being good for the mind. A better way to unwind after work and changing nappies than watching TV!

If you're already "that guy" they won't be too surprised to see you out at night!!

I take it you don't use a pressure washer? I'm sure my neighbours would be pissed at me If I washed it in the evenings with the washer! Makes a racket.

No, not sad at all. I do the same. The wife thinks I'm sad which is ironic cos she's a manic depressive.....

Can't use LSP too late into the evening though this late in the year as once you reach dew point the LSP won't bond properly to the paintwork so my evening cleans tend to focus on cleaning and I do the wax/sealant thing at the w/e.

LOL - making it sound like they have some serious issues.
I often want to but think people would think I'm totally mad.

But its best, free water and hopefully it'll be sunny the next few days.
Always rains when I wash it and its sunny.

So surely it makes more sense the other way round.

Bingo, I often wash it in the rain.

It's a free-pre soak, all the bugs and bird shit are softened up first.

wheels, wash, rinse off then you're done, no poncing about drying and fretting about drips from mirror housings etc.

Maybe May to July, but it's dark by 8 this time of year and we've no street lights.

I could attach a torch to the jet wash lance?

If it needs cleaning for the next day, I get it done.
I've started at 9pm and finished at 11pm
and I've started at 6am in November with the freezing cold darkness as well.
The looks don't bother me
