But they aren't oem lol. Just razzing. Brits are so uptight about oem. Welcome to the first mod. May it lead to many more.

Unless you have a LCI model the outer ring wont be very bright, its just the way the pre lci lights were made.

True, I have a E90 LCI with Xenon which uses a H8 for the angel eyes like pre LCI E92/93.

I am after a set of LED angel bulbs that are brighten both the inner and outer rings. I have seem some Lux ones but there well over £100.

The E90 LCI inner rings will always be brighter than the outers. It's the way they are designed.

Glad to help

They look great.

The funny thing is guys that it's the design of the fibre optic. The cut pattern. If you actually put your ear near the ground so you are looking up at the angel lights you'll see that the outer ring is actually quite bright. Just not at the angle you normally view them at. If only they weren't sealed it'd be an easy fix.

Anyway they look great once the light level drops.

Yes, this is what I bought.
Not the best picture but should give you idea. Apologies for clutter on the plate as I am on phone.

There is no LEDs out there which make the outer rings as bright as inner as thats a design issue. Led sits under the inner halo and lit the outer ring via the optic loop. Its the principle of light refraction which shifts the light onto outer ring and hence less bright.

I have tried different ones before keeping these ones. Mind you that my mrs has 40w led on her x1 but they are not as bright as this one. So lots of variation out there.

Wow, that looks really good. Thank you

One point, the inner ring looks very thick and fuzzy, im guessing that due to the pic?

I expect these are all using the same LEDs and unless the angle of the outer optic can be adjusted, it's never going to be very bright. All cameras will look different as well based on exposure differences.
