Quick question - mirrors and reversing

Morning guys,

I've been playing around with the settings on my car and when I put the car in reverse the passenger side mirror no longer dips. Anyone tell me what I have done?

And before anyone tells me to RTFM I don't have it with me!

You moved the switch on the driver's door - the one that lets you select each mirror for adjusting. I forget which way, but when it's on one side the mirror tilts, on the other it doesn't.

What would have been really useful is being able to tilt either mirror, depending on the position of the switch...

place the little tab to switch the mirrors on the left (ie allowing you to move the driver's side mirror). thatll allow the passenger's side mirror to tilt when in R.

OK, universal instructions: Set the switch to the driver's side and the passenger side will tilt.
