The bikes were probably trying to either not spin or keep from picking up the front tire and you shut down before they had time to catch up. I mean maybe against a 1986 litre bike but not a freaking 2012 ZX-10. Do those bikes have traction control? It probably was kicking in heavily...

none of the bike were stretched so spinning was out of the question, but he def has traction control... Also said that he can go full throttle without lifting cuz the tc will kick in, maybe thats y I was so close to him. But after 120 or so he should just be able to pull and not worry about lifting, thats where i started to gain just couldn't pass him.... Trust me I was surprised myself and a little frustrated... LOL

Had no prob with the R6 tho...

e85? either way i've kept up one car behind an r6 from a dig to 80-90 in my old stg 2 sti back in the day because of an amateur driver. You really have to have skill and guts to drive a bike all out. Dinan S2 with all supporting mods is the solid power (used to have it) and I could see this happening with really bad drivers on the bikes, I know the majority of bike owners can't match dragtimes and magazine tests.

i have run a few 600 bikes , this with RB's FBO meth and tipping 20PSI , with some i could keep up , not all of them.
I have run a few 1000 bikes on the same setup and got walked pretty bad , just like i expected by the way.

There is no way your Dinan tuned car with no meth even has a chance to hang with a decent 600. period.

Exactly. Some riders just don't give sport bikes the proper representation.

I raced my friend on his 03-04 Kawasaki Zx-6r on the freeway . He started probably 2 cars ahead of me and I blew by him at 120-130. I was pretty suprised. Cobb stage 2+ on my car. I know its no r6 or zx-10 but I was still impressed.

I love listening to non-bike people talk about fast.

Take the s1000rr, BMW's version of the 1000cc superbike. 1/4 mile in 9.6 sec, dead stock. Close to 200HP, so with a 200 lb rider (& 400 lb bike) that is a power to weight of around 1 to 3. You'd need around 1200HP in a 335 to match that. You may have traction issues.

There's a german video of a 700HP ZR1 vette vs s1000rr, it is instructive.

Anyway my old R1150GS Adventure is as fast or faster than a non meth 335 FBO (12.1 sec. 1/4).

If anything, you beat the rider- not the bike.

335i is the fastest and most underrated car evar.

If the OP ran an r6 from a roll there is a good chance he beat it if the guy couldn't ride. Stock,they start to run out of wind at around 160mph but the OP said he ran around him at around 140.
