I am an Engineering Director running a team of software/hardware engineers developing a very wide variety of electronic power and control systems.

The more interesting stuff like particle accelerators power supplies, ion beam accelerators for manufacturing silicon wafers, electron beam welding systems, X-Ray systems and the latest ones of focused electromagnetic pulse systems.

Probably sounds boring but I love a technical challenge

By the way great idea for the thread !!

I'm in the Building Services Industry (Construction). I don't have anything to do with software other than flying the odd spreadsheet.

Is VMware some sort of discount clothes shop.

No sorry, didn't make it, I would have liked too, but too busy with a big project I'm running at the moment

Next time - I'm a big fan, migrated all of our servers over a year ago in 3 months, now building a DR site using it, great stuff

Apologies to those not of an IT background for me being boring for a sec.

I'm a condom tester. They say I'm ideally suited for the job. I wonder what that means?

I'd say 'joke'.

Considering you just posted that someone else had a 'small willy' I think this is probably a fair riposte.

It's hardly Oscar Wilde though.

I didn't give it too much thought, it was just an obvious cheap shot.

Given that i'm new here, from what i've read to date, this approach seems to be most appropriate.

Carlos, absolutely no offence intended, you sensitive young fool.
