BMW or Akebono brake pads?

Hey Guys,

I'm sure this question has been asked time and time again but I was looking for some newer insight on it. I have to replace both the front and rear brakes on my 09 335i xdrive this spring and am debating between getting the BMW pads front(34-11-6-794-917) and rear(34-35-6-789-445) or getting the Akebono fronts (EUR918) and rears(EUR1170). Has anyone used both and if so how would you compare the two of them?

Just from reading other threads, you'll eliminate most if not all brake dust but the bite/braking isn't as good as the OEM pads (not saying they're terrible at braking but you'll have to apply more pressure to the pedal).

been running akebono pads for couple of years. instead of having to clean wheels twice a week with OEM pads, only have to clean them once a month or so. bite is definitely not as hood as oem. same goes with pedal feel. for everyday driving, akebono pads is the way to go.

i have akebono in the rear and akebono fronts are on the way, brake dust is deffinetly noticeably way less. bight is slightly less compared to oem. for street use akebono is the way to go especially if you have high spoke count wheels like i do.
