I got the exhaust installed today. Before I get going on my experience let me just say this. What a nice freaking exhaust. For the price you really can't beat it. The welds, bends, material, ext. I love the fact that it's 3.5" that will really mate up nice with the single turbo.

so I had an exhaust shop install it only because I had to get the rear section welded and I really didn't feel like driving 15 miles with half the exhaust. Being a mechanic I can tell you it was a breeze to install. I was there the whole time watching/helping. Everything went smooth until we were retightening the clamps after we let it heat cycle and the guy thought it would be a good idea to use an impact gun. Needless to say I have a broken ghettofied and welded v-band clamp. I won't touch apon the sound right now until it's broken in fully. I promise a video this weekend after a put a few miles on it.

I would like to thank Tiago, and VRSF for bringing such a quality product at a reasonable price.

with the use of a lift it took about 2 hours. I also had to weld the muffler section. for the average Joe in his garage on Jack stands I would say about 3 hours for one that is fully assembled with no welding required. Add another 30 min to an hour if you need to cut and drill the studs on the dp

How loud is the V2 version of the exhaust? I'm pretty interested in this, but I am not a fan of the mild exhausts out there. I like it loud.

Also what would you compare the sound to, if anything?

It's still not "loud" compared to aggressive exhausts. But the 335 gets farty when it isn't well muffled, so a little more muffler on there is a good thing. The v2 exhaust does sound considerably more aggressive than the V1.

I should have filmed it in the parking garage last night. It sounds amazing. Supercar sounding. After about week 2 it got a little louder. I'm a fan of sounding good more than loud. Don't really like the attention of loud so it's perfect for me. The weight savings and size were the seller for me. Now I just need to get this single turbo installed and see what it sounds like

If u are getting the ST, will you be able to use the single pipe from the ST (I think this is the base option) to merge with a single pipe of the VRSF exhaust? (Does VRSF offer this option?)

Or you are thinking going with the single pipe/double pipe of the ST to the current VRSF exhaust configuration?

I might be doing ST too, so just wondering.

The VRSF exhuast is a single 3" pipe the whole way from downpipes to mufflers

I have the kit. just a few set backs on my end with what turbo will be going in. The kit is a 3" out the vrsf is a 3.5". unfortunatly my plans were different when I was ordering everything. So now I have a single turbo kit to bolt up to a stock exhaust style cat back and a single exhaust made for stock style down pipes. Do to timing on my part I'm going to rock a single to dual to single exhaust until about mid summer when I can put her down again for some other mods

The V2 uses a less baffled, single muffler design which is a bit more free flowing. We also now include more free flowing tips.

Our exhaust actually goes from the stock dual 2.5" connections to a merged single 3.5" all the way back to the muffler.

Great idea, we're planning on making a new downpipe for the N55 that allows a full 3.5" from the turbo back. Definitely something I've considered for the ST kits but there's quite a few springing up and no standard sizing yet unfortunately.
