335i coolant
Hey guys, so my 335i seems to have lost a bit of coolant over time. No warning messages or anything, but just happened to check and the indicator is floating beneath the cap.
I'm kind of in-between services and wanted to top it up, possibly needs about a litre or so give or take. The car has been serviced by bmw only. Does anyone know any compatible coolants I can pick up from possibly repco or supercheap. I have some green nulon concentrate in the garage and it says bmw approved on the front? Can anyone help? Thanks. |

You can buy genuine BMW coolant on ebay for $15.50 delivered Andrew. Just make sure you mix it 50:50 with distilled water.

something weird happened to me the other day. i would get a low coolant warning, went to sca to get the most expensive one they got. open the cap and fkn coolant spilled everywhere, it was running for a good minute or two. then i filled it up. would there be a chance that my reservoir is clogged?

Why would they say that when in fact they do "Pit stops" where they check your oil/water/tyres and you can just call in - no appointment necessary? I get it done every 6 months (alternative months to annual service) and only have had to pay for oil once in four years - every other time its been free top-ups? Strange... |
