New member - help with colour choice for 335i MSport
Well this is my first posting on the forum
I have just ordered a new 335i MSport Coupe and am just debating what colour to go for I have narrowed it down to either Mineral White or Space Grey with a red leather interior I cannot decide which one to go for... Has anyone seen a 3 series in mineral white yet? |

White was great, in 2007 and when the sun is shining down sunset bouvld. Get the Grey - classy for sure, looks great when clean and still looks decent dirty.

Hello mate an welcome! I agree with carlos. White is nice but it's like arseholes, everyones got one! Every new kind of motor is White! Get the grey mate. Fit the black performance grills an you'll have one bangin motor!

I recently went with mineral white.... as its a new colour its hard to find at the moment but I was lucky enough to see a M3 .... looked amazing .... has like a metallic shimmer which looked nice when the sunlight was directly on it .... it was different enough from AW .. not seen anything similar out there....
Do a search there are a few threads with pics... |

I would not get black, white, or red(thats why they are free ) Hard to take care of.
I would get the space grey myself.

You should go for the colour that does it for you, not what others think. Try an see the two clour side by side.

Hi,
White or Grey? I am sure you are after personal opinions from members to help you decide. My experiences: I just bought another new car E90 LCI 2010 Space Grey 335 D MSport with quite a few options (I tend to change my cars every year or year and a half). I have had white, black, blue, red, silver and grey cars in the past. Furthermore my favourite colour is a "darkish" blue metallic, so since 2000 every new BMW I have had was Topaz or Mystic (not Orient) blue until recently. I discovered Space Grey! What a colour in the flesh and I believe it does not date as easily either holding good residuals in my experience as I discovered with the sale of my fully loaded 2008 X5 XDrive35 D MSport recently. White was available but having had one previously, the moment we have a small shower or a minor stone chip, the dirt would show immediately after (similar to Black). My choice is now grey as it wears well, looks fine after a shower and does not show the chips (I saw some used at the dealer forecourt) to make my mind up. I would recommend seeing cars in person to help you decide. Best of luck av |

The medium hue of space grey + red interior is awesome; the red really sets it off. White + red is excellent too, and while I do love the combo, I cannot deny it has a "daddy's girl" feel to it. I also see the white + red as a beach combo more than a city combo.
White + Red = bold, playful/cutesy, summery, collegiate, a small bit feminine (that's not to say a bloke shouldn't choose it) Grey + Red = bold, sophisticated panache, adult, masculine (that's not to say a gal shouldn't choose it) I'm sure you enjoy either combo; I'd certainly be happy with either.
