Question 2009 335i - 60k miles - no CPO - NEED ANSWERS PLEASE

http://www.irvinebmw.com/vehicle/spe...PM77509NL88356

Hi guys, is this car worth buying? I am a little afraid since it has +60k miles. I am not sure how reliable the 335i is. Please help me out and let me know about your experience. I think I could get it for $29,000 out the door.

Thanks and much appreciated.

wrong link?

depends on the options, but for 29k(~26 before taxes) out the door for an 09 sounds about right in my opinion. just kind of high mileage for the year in my opinion and kinda scary with no cpo.

Link isn't working, but would you really want to spend almost $30K on a car without a warranty? Sure BMW's CPO sucks, but it at least covers most of the expensive stuff.

The problem is that it just won't come with CPO but this is at the moment the only 335i in the States!!! that I like. The other one I liked was sold the same day I took a look at it with 45k miles.

Is the 335i that unreliable at 60k miles +? I am planning to maybe have it 2 years and have it repaired at my local little BMW specialized shop.

I appreciate your comments!

I see. Would you say your car is unreliable? This one has had the HPFP exchanged in 2010 (I think that was a recall) and had the 15k miles oil change etc. You can also see the carfax:

wouldn't say it's unreliable, it's just costly without cpo. and with the higher the mileage the more maintenance you'd better be prepared for.

I'm thinking going to another BMW mechanic around the corner with many great reviews on Yelp. Maybe that sounds naive to you, it would have sounded naive to me too back in the good days when I still had a brand new M5...

Thanks for your input!
