Hi guys,

I'm new to the BMW world having been used to diesel Peugeots. I picked up my e92 335i about three weeks ago and its safe to say that I love it!

Pic from the place I got it from, it's filthy now

Hi, I've had a 325i Tourer for just over a year, no mods bar the winter tyres on 16" wheels.

Great to surf all the info on this site, cheers.

Hi
Just joined and wanted to introduce myself.
Had an e46 for 8 yrs and just recently changed it for a 320i msport convertible in black. 10 day in and someone broke in, took the keys and was off with it. Anyway insurance paid out and now I've got a 325i msport convertible in silver with red leather.

Looking forward to chatting and reading up on some of the posts.

Where in London have you moved to?

You'll find things quite different on the UK forums, far fewer 'keyboard warriors' and the average age seems to be a bit higher!

I wasn't quite ready to get rid of everything just yet so I've brought the few go faster goodies along with me with the idea of possibly getting another one at some point, but we'll see how that goes.

Naturally, there's a BMW dealership not 90 seconds (walking) from where I just moved to. I suppose that's a sign.

I'm also a rather huge rotary nut and am hanging onto that one back in the states (FD RX-7) with eventual plans to maybe bring that over as well.

And I ride as well.

Looking forward to seeing what the UK community is about. My hope is that it's not as...vain...as the Chicago folks.

'Til then...

Hi All

I'm a newbie on here & to BMW, E91 320d M Sport arrived early Nov, have to admit it's a company motor having been forced off an allowance, touring is due to the arrival of a micro human. Been driving Renaultsports' for 5 years, great to drive but diabolical dealers & reliability, have had some crazy situations with Renault despite owning the most expensive cars they build. Hoping for a better experience, seems like a well built solid motor so far...

Happy Xmas

hi guys, been a lurker for a while now,so go easy on me.....drive a e90 325i m sport, had it since 2006 n still in love with it...before this i was an e30 fanatic but when the e90 came along..i was smitten, especially the m3 saloon..but at 50g i just couldn't do it..so i opted for the m sport(even that was beg n borrow)..in the 4 yrs ive had it..12grand and on the verge of divorce, the transition is nearly over..i havent got pics of it yet, just waiting for the weather to break n i will take some choice pics of it....trust me its a nice piece of kit..anywys whilst being a lurker,i have soo enjoyed some of the posts here and taken in a lot of tips...the pics are from 2006,even then it was sitting nice, its in the same condition today may be better.....happy new year to all....peace...alex..

Hi all

Traded in my Evo IX for a 335i Coupe.

The Evo was remaped to 400bhp/lbft with uprated suspension and brakes.

Having had the 335i for a while now, I'm really pleased I moved across - it is so much more refined, solid and has loads of toys! Handling-wise it is 90% as good as the Evo, but basically it is as good 99% of the time (how often to you actually use the last 10%). I do miss the acceleration of the Evo though, the 335i is no where near it in terms of pushing you back in the seat and hanging on for dear life!!! Although I really love the low down torque of the 335, pulling in 6th from 30mph as you leave a town is amazing and would have the Evo shuddering and probably slowing! Rear wheel drive is not as bad as I was expecting either.

Anyway, thinking of getting Evolve to work their magic now on an engine remap - anyone got any experience or views?

Cheers, Nick
