DIY- HPFP Replacemnt

This is a DIY HPFP replacement on an 09 135i, however I think it will also help other N54 owners.

I would allow 4 hours in your garage the first time. Once you learn how everything comes apart, the job is very easy. I would guess I could do this in 2-3 hours time now in my garage. I did the job through out a weekend, I could only work on the car in 30min blocks of time (Baby sitting duty).

thanks for the DIY, seems like a lot of people are having HPFP problems. how much did the HPFP cost you btw?

480.00 from my dealer with an additional 50.00 refundable core charge.

fire retardent nomex, good idea for working on fuel systems, latex or nitrile gloves could melt to your hand in a fire, also fuel eats certains rubbers.
