Coding a logic7 headunit for an e9x with hifi speakers ..

Installed a logic7 radio into an e90 that has hifi speakers in it. Currently getting very low sound.

What can be done coding-wise? Did some searching but found nothing definite.

Any help is appreciated.

Does the car have a logic 7 amp and hifi speakers? Or a hifi amp?

If both were pro radio's

If both were pro radio's
The only difference in most of the older years is programming.
The real difference in the L7 and Hi Fi system is the amplifier
and the way its connected.

There are block diagrams in two of the following links that illustrate this.

No idrive, the radio is coded as logic7 (prof radio) while the car has hifi speakers and amp.

Had several people attempt to recode my HU to HiFi without any success. Something about needing fiber optic cable connected under dash to reset it.. Any ideas or suggestions? I dont want to have to replace my head unit..

You will need ICOM. If you want, I can try now with a cable via different method. It may work or it may not, but do not mind trying it.
Once the cable is connected, PM me your team viewer user name and password. (only now)

Send me a pm on Friday and will see if I can get it coded.
ICOM is dealer level equipment which can access anything / everything.
On 2008 onward cars, D+Kcan cable fails to read new HUs, unless they are CD73 HUs. Only ICOM can read the new HUs.
