Anyone ever have their side view mirror stolen?

Got in my car this morning, and started driving wanted to change lanes looked over to my right and my mirror was gone. I just wanted to know if this was something that happened to anyone else? Luckily I already purchased a replacement from the stealership for a 164 bucks

This happened to a friends M3 in the parking lot of a hockey game. We came out of the game and his drivers side mirror had been sawed off.

Yes I've seen on here someone got the glass of out both mirrors stolen in a mall parking garage. I guess its very easy to get out by pushing the glass all the way up and puting a pick in. They ruined the wiring in his mirror also

I remember some thread on Woodbury or some Woodbridge Mall in NJ with bad reputation of car thefts.

It just takes a small screw driver preferable a rubberized one and out comes the mirror. This small time robbery has been done around by kids looking to sell parts to autoparts stores...They fetch up to 50 bucks for each mirror that are stolen and brought back with no damages. Sucks but at least they didnt crack the actual housing as some of these people are butchers. I would love to catch someone do that to my car...

Yeah and when you catch them and either punch or shoot them and end up in jail or paying them 6 figures for their pain and suffering for stealing your stuff. **** this country

yeah it really sucks to come out and just notice this. At first I thought the mirror was 164 but I was mistaken it was actually 322... -_-

I've seen another member complain about it too. Happened at Roosevelt Field Mall even while his mirrors were folded up!

Yeah, that has happened to me, as e60holic linked to my thread. My wiring was fine and all they took were the mirrors themselves, but it still sucked regardless.
