Interior Rattles

Hello NY Folks,
As all of us know that how sensitive are we about interior rattles...i got most of rattles fixed but one rattle which i cant figure it out. i was wondering if somebody can help me out? may be ride in my car and find me the exact location, it is coming from passenger side.
i tried my Dealers,friends,wife etc,,no help,they have no idea,,may be because it is not thier car and they dont own BMW

any help will be much appreciated

I notice the same thing, near the window or ac area passenger side...it drives me crazy since i drive 450 miles at a time once a month

Check your glovebox, and center console. Rattles drive me crazy. Good luck.

Could be something under the passenger seat like a water bottle and thing happened to me like a week ago its the worst

I drove car empty, empty glove box,nothing under seats or on the seats or in the trunk and also i have covered seat belts with Volcero

i can still hear that rattle.

i have covered all plastic connections, pins, points with Teflon tape and i can hear that ONE RATTLE

i took glove box, door wooden trim,front wooden trim off and drove without those things and still hear that one rattle

I have one rattle near the right passenger rear seat. I'm still hunting it down.

Check the ac vents under the seat! I had this one annoying rattle and it would slide around too from time to time and I couldn't figure what it was. Finally me and my cousin got it out and it was a metal cigar case from the previous owner haha. Hopefully this works for you haha. Good luck finding the rattle. I know how you felt!

I had a dashboard rattle. Does it sound like its coming from the front? If its that ambiguous, it could be the dash. I wound up stuffing some felt btwn the windshield and dashboard.

I did the same thing. We may have the same rattle. Try to hold down the furthermost part of the dashboard. The part that is adjacent to the windshield. Or ask a passenger to do it while you're driving and hear the rattle. See if it works. I've browsed the forum too and have read about a tiny spot weld behind the dash popping loose as well.

i feel your pain, i hate rattles and noises inside the car, i cant figure out which spring on my drivers seat is making it sound like a well known Nevada prostitutes bed

Thanks Guys, its coming from Dash, i will try to felt tape where windshield meets dash, wish me good luck

Couple of possible culprits:

When its cold enough the plastic cover that encloses the speedo makes a slight rattle

Had a rattle coming from the sliding tray cover in the back seats as well.

Could be the drink trays also

Let us know if you figure it out

i have put felt tape in cup holders, dash wooden trim, i drove car without glove box, wooden trim,wooden door trim , without e-z pass, the rattle coming from center according to my wife and i dont want to let anybody drive my car so i can sit in passenger side to locate it

it is coming from dash,so i took all of above parts, any suggestions to open more dash parts?

Sounds like your trying all possibilities but just in case
There is the thin vent near the hood on your interior dashboard

Also, if you have Nav check the vent above the screen if you havent already

I wish I could hear the damn thing would help a lot

Make sure all the AC vent fins move when you adjust them, maybe one of them is loose. DJsniggety mentioned a spot weld. Might look in to what thats about

mine is coming from rear passenger side c pillar side most of the time on colder days

i blast my music on so it don't matter much lol
