WTF Brakes!

Just bought the car about 2 weeks ago now and it currenty has 10,800 miles on it and my car indicated me today I need new brakes....FRONT AND BACK! Wft?? The guy before we was older and kept amazing care for it so i have no idea how I need new brakes at 10,800 miles!! I sure hope I don't need to replace brakes every 10,000 miles.. Also how could the front and back go out at the same time??

The CBS data could be corrupted. Checked the brake pads yourself.

You didn't have the car checked by a mechanic before buying it or anything?

+1 good point

although the car could have been driven preety hard which could possibly lead to other problems down the line. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

lol Could of been driven hard, but don't worry ok thanks!

The guy I bought it from took VERY good care of it and I believe him that he didn't beat the shit out of it.

I haven't checked anything haven't had time, just saw the warning on my navi. That doesn't make sense for the fronts and backs to go out at the same time does it??

I have 33K miles on my car and I have had my stock rear brakes replaced TWICE. However, I do track my car..and probably have something like 20-24 track days on it.

Im thinking it has to be a sensor, considering both went out at the same time..
