hey kenny how you doing buddy. had a quick question about your gauges, i just ordered a pair and found out that they dont actually have an overboost alarm. What do you do to make sure you dont overboost, besides having to stare at the needle during WOT. is there anything? Does your scanguage give you any type of warnings or does that not monitor boost at all.

Lastly, is there any DIY that you know to hook up the oil pressure gauge. Trying to figure out where you tap the signal from.

Thanks!

The car import tax system (200%) in Singapore is ridiculous. An e92 M3 DCT cost about US$230K in Singapore, close to the price of a Maserati Gran Turismo. An e92 335 costs US$155K - and much more mod-able less the handling of an M. Hence my choice. [Using US$1 = SG$1.53]

Hov, the new Defi gauges will bypass the controller unit and tap the sensors directly. I dun have an overboost issue, given that boost is capped by my Juice Box piggyback. I believe the older series of Defi gauges had an "overboost alarm" but even that is not exactly accurate - it will reflect higher boost when the wastegates are still open and the throttle body closes......ScanGauge will not read boost at all.

For DIY installation, I believe there is an instruction booklet on tapping the right sensors.......

Your car is sick! We have a lot of the same parts and ideas. You should do what I'm doing and Install an OEM M3 Carbon Fiber roof. Mine should be on by this weekend. I'll send you pics.
